Artist Frank Dash was born in 1873 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he lived in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and then in New York. Studied William Merritt Chase and Charles Hawthorne and Biloul in Paris. Dash was a member of the Union of Artists of America, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Salmagundi Club and the Provincetown Art Association. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Salmagundi Club, and the Corcoran Gallery.
